The fantastic, cinematic experience motion visual design brings to any setting continues to capture my imagination and I’ve designed, directed, and / or animated dozens of such projects for industry events, trade shows, large scale public spaces, presentations, music festivals, museums, and more. Whether it’s an interactive projection wall, a monumental LED sculpture, or adding to the onstage excitement of live entertainment, the impact is the same - a cutting edge and immediate visceral engagement between audience and message (plus it just looks cool).

Exploring the artistic expression and inspiring messages on original signs preserved from the 2019 Women’s March in Washington D.C. (and in celebration of Women’s History Month), ‘Jane Walker by Johnnie Walker’ and non-profit partners, ‘Monumental Women’, commissioned my team to create a 4-channel site-specific video install to serve as an educational and eye-catching anchor for their ‘Signs of Progress’ exhibit at the New-York Historical Society.

Working closely with Hard Rock’s design and management teams, Technomedia was commissioned to design, install and develop media for the hotel’s iconic Atrium, nightclub and entry stairway. The Atrium features a spectacular, curved LED facade that surrounds a grand staircase into which LED strips were embedded and programmed to work in concert with the content on the facade. In addition to concepting much of the digital art work, I also created several of the full motion vignettes on display 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week in one of Atlantic City’s most exciting venues.

I’ve done extensive work for Panasonic America and their world avionics (AIX) divisions.. From directing a small army of animators to execute the massive amount of content they required for their presence at CES several years in a row, to custom instatllations at their corporate headquarters, to creating spherical content for their ‘projection globe’ (ask me about IFEC!) at numerous avionics trade shows, you could say I’m sick of the color aqua blue, but you’d be wrong... It’s still my favorite.
5-channel video installation designed for Panasonic Avionics (AIX) presence at Apex 2017 convention in Frankfurt debuting their new 'IFEC platform', NEXT. Final piece was presented live w a host / narrator across 4 vertical LED screens / framed out by one large video projection similar to the ‘Panasonic Future Room’ above. The ‘Panasonic Future Room’ is a multi-platform video installation Dorian Orange created for Panasonic USA’s ‘Innovation Center’ at their corporate headquarters in New Jersey. Panasonic’s core message: being with its customers ‘every step of the journey’ through their smart devices, televisions, cars, homes, and communities, was the inspiration I drew on to create this compelling visual journey. Specially designed for presentation through a unique combination of projection (the large master frames) and 4k LED display (the smaller screens arranged across the two walls) technology, the installation also serves to highlight Panasonic’s continuing innovations in those fields. Designed, directed, and animated by E. Knuble w Dorian Orange for Panasonic America.

Content was presented simultaneously across both an 18' high, multi-sided LED sculpture and a 30' long 18k LED ribbon adjacent to it. Designed, directed, and animated by E. Knuble w Dorian Orange for Panasonic America.

‘Design Disrupted’ was a multi-media dance performance presented by Lexus during NY Fashion Week. Tightly choreographed interplay between dancers, sound design, and dynamic holographic projections produced a uniquely engaging, cutting edge experience for a special series of branded VIP events.
